The Postmarks rendezvous at Radio Radio, October 15, 2009

It’s like that scene in a film. Henry Mancini is in the background. The actors are being savant, and life never could be better as reality spins around until you are dizzy in the face.
The Postmarks is that dizzying effect, creating musical substance that spins ’60s-style pop . For the band, these are the days of wine and roses, darkly lit substance with bright musical propsects.
Lucky for Indianapolis, Radio Radio is bringing the band here tonight (October 15) for a night of starry skies, even if the clouds hover close above. The trio is touring in support of their latest sophomore release Memoirs At The End Of The World (Unfiltered).
It will be fascinating to see how the trio builds in the essence of strings and horns into an intimate live setting. That alone will make the trip well worth it and to experience a different angle to the bands sound. With the prestige this trio has received, the hope is that you will walk outside at the end of the night with melancholic satisfaction.
Stay tuned for a ZapTown recap of this show in the coming days.
