Agreed and very well said I might add. So jealous I wasn't able to sweat it out on the floor with fans! I look forward to seeing a Cage The Elephant set in it's entirety. My loss for showing up late! :)

With all due respect, I believe your bird's eye view sheltered you from the true happenings on the floor during Cage The Elephant. Did you miss the part where Matt climbed to the top of the speakers at stage left and dove into the crowd who caught him with open arms? How about when he allowed us to create a platform with our hands for his shoeless feet to stand upon? Or when security held him back time and time again as he leaned over into the crowd allowing us to grab at his body and run our hands through his hair? I was lucky enough to have some indie rock girls camped out behind me who thought it would be fun to scream in my ear because I was jumping around too hard and bothering them. Little did they know, this only made me go harder. Drenched in sweat and energy spent, I rolled my eyes as I heard comments like "how do you follow music like that?" as I exited the crowd post-Cage. As you have alluded to, this band has the potential to incite a riot. It's unfortunate for them they're on a bill with low-energy bands that attract a crowd full of skinny jeans and pull over cardigans instead of heavy eyeliner, mohawks, and black concert tees. Shame on me for being stereotypical, but that crowd was not deserving of Cage The Elephant.
