When we last visited the world of Mungolian Jetset, Lindstrøm lent a helping hand to Mungolian’s freaky sound. Buried beneath it was an brooding ritual of hand claps that carry over to something like “Keep It Up,” from Real Life Is No Cool. There is something in his methodology that gets enhanced by the teaming of Christabelle, not a real surprise since she has been working on and off with him since 2001.

The sparkling down tempo to the song adds a glowing atmosphere to Christabelle’s gorgeously low lit vocals. The song is a reminder to how amazingly well Lindstrøm and Christabelle work together. The glistening love making connection of “High and Low” that ends the album proves that you don’t have to go to extremes to find that perfect balance of beauty and expression in the electronic world.

Lindstrøm is not shy when it comes to incorporating dance-throbbing, disco-tinged Euro house. The formula may be simple, but what it boils down to is a well-made electronic album.

“Lovesick” may be a house party grind, but when she tells us she’s lovesick in her Scandinavian-English accent, you cannot help but feel a certain postmodern poshness to the style.

Add in every concoction of ‘80s Pop (the heavy synth rhythms, the plucking guitar accents, and horns blasting like Lionel Ritche was partying all night long) “Baby Can’t Stop” is what makes this album universally outstanding. Put this song on at any party and anyone who doesn’t move to it is dead.

There is the compromise from the white light to the tequila sunrise to the skinny tie affair that will have anyone and everyone out on the dance floor because for Lindstrøm and Christabelle, the past is the present and the present is only a futuristic vision.
