Netherland’s based hyper-electro wordsmith Clarck Cunt tries to create a stir with his single “Watch Me Rise.”

With a slew of remixes, we get to experience varying moods modified but not necessarily deviated from the original demo version. Going from the source, the music is dance-fused hyper like doing a leg shuffle to any Prodigy song. And even though the music is in the spirit, the lyrical platform is not. The song would be better if there was more anger and intensity into the words. I just do not feel like they have that salivating hunger to want it really bad.

The remixes push the song into a realm of intensity that should be there from the beginning. “The Alternative Mix” powers up the cylinders and brings back 1997 electro like during that time you spent playing Need For Speed II in your buddy’s basement.

Cunt’s remix skills outweigh the actual songwriting, which is where he clearly is the best.
