Not To Miss: Band Of Horses Join Pearl Jam at Verizon Wireless Music Center

As a result of the release of Backspacer last year, Pearl Jam will rock the amphitheater with a distinct mixture of classic grunge hits and newer tunes with hopefully some rarities thrown in between.
But to celebrate their upcoming release, Band Of Horses will be touting their wares for Infinite Arms (Columbia Records), their first venture away from the Sub Pop label. With that staple atmospheric folk and midtempo contemplative rock, Band Of Horses will not disappoint fans and newcomers to the band alike.
The product of moving around the States and giving into everything they had to make this album, the songs reflect not only a physical journey but a mental one, as well. Songs like the ethereal rock of the title track to the expansive closer “Neighbor” is about a group of guys who believe in themself and their music enough to take that chance and make the very product they want to make.
The result is a fantastic rock album, as well as the potential to lighten up the night with an amazing rock show that should not be missed.
