As much as they write, what is impressive is that their music is relevant and not just throwaway lo-fi dribble.

Lou Barlow – Goodnight Unkown (Music Review)

By Andrew Duncan • Nov 11th, 2009 • Category: Categories, Lo-Fi, Reviews And Essays

Goodnight Unkown leaves the listener confused as to which persona Barlow wants to be: the singer/songwriter or the indie rock superhero. Not that it’s a bad thing because it’s Barlow after all we are talking about, the album is just not fully consistent.
